To my scale for 30 days.
Honestly, I think that this will be the most challenging part of trying Whole30. I am used to stepping on a couple of mornings a week which I know does me NO good at all. So, I'm determined that for the next 30 days I am not going to step on the scale....not even one toe.
I've had some who things that crazy because how will know if I'm losing weight? Well, I might not but I really want my focus to be on following the plan......making good food choices. And hopefully, at that end of 30 days, I will be able to say that I followed my plan with both eating and working out......there will likely be SOME results right? Well, I won't know for 30 days but I'm sure you'll hear all about it.
I also have to think that I might be slightly crazy for pick this week, the first week of school to start my 30 days. NO ALCOHOL?!?!?!?!? There has to be a bit of crazy to make that decision, right? Here is why I, personally, decided that NOW was the right time for me to make this change......
The school year brings a lot of change in our house between my work schedule, the kids school schedule, therapy, martial arts, etc. I felt like if we were already making changes, one more wasn't a big deal. It felt like a good time. (Ask me in a week how I feel!)
I'm ready to do this........
I might just miss my scale a little bit though.
